We had a blast being able to support the American Heart Association at the Monte Carlo Heart Ball. We had 13 lovely ladies that volunteered to be “iceed”. That means they wore several pieces of our jewelry at the event. We really appreciate it. Also we were able to donate a live auction piece. It was a sterling silver and rose gold custom dinosaur bone ring with raspberry garnet accent stones. Check it out and some of the other photos from the event including our beautiful “icees”.

Ozarks Food Harvest – Update
Well it has been a little over a week and so far we have had about a box & 1/2 of food donated. So thank you very much and please keep bringing it in. There are always people from our community that are in need.
Remember, bring in 5 or more non-perishable food items and receive $25 off of any product or service CornerStone offers. Limit of one per household on the $25 off.
More Training
This past weekend we took 5 of us and went to Lake of the Ozark for state jewelry seminars. While we were there, we looked at several vendor’s items, listened to a couple of speakers and made some new contacts. We try to attend these so that we continue learning about our ever changing industry and are therefore better equipped to meet your needs. Hope to see you soon.
Update On Trip to Stuller
Check out our new software that enables YOU to choose and customize jewelry on the screen in front of YOU. Learn more about it HERE.
Trip to Stuller
Well we have just got back from a trip to one of our largest vendors, Stuller. They supply us with everything from finished jewelry to the parts we need to make jewelry. We were able to tour their facility and learn more about some new technology that they are introducing. So soon we should have some new and exciting things going on here, including the ability to easily customize a piece of jewelry to be exactly how you want it. So please keep your eyes open for updates.
Amore & Baci In-Store Event

For all of the bead lovers we are having an Amore & Baci In-Store Event. It will be from April 18th through May 7th.
During the event you can come in and see a much larger selection of beads and jewelry that you can get to add to your collection or start a new one.
And while the event is going on, you will get a FREE bracelet with the purchase of four beads.
Beware of “Cruise Jewelry”
-In the past few weeks, we have had the displeasure of having to -inform a customer that the piece of jewelry they purchased -while on their cruise was not what what they thought they had -purchased.
-One customer had thought they had a bought several beautiful -pieces of fine jewelry at a “good” price only to find out that -they were all fake. Then a separate customer had purchased a -“special” cut diamond that was supposed to be of great quality. -Unfortunately, what they had purchased was an old mine cut -diamond. Which makes it worth a lot less. It was also of much -lower quality than what it was represented to be.
These are just two cases of things we see come through that were purchased while on cruises. Usually the old saying of “If it seems too good to be true, then it probably is” comes into play very frequently. Sometimes the customer will pay too much for what they receive, other times what they thought they were buying is not what they actually bought, etc. And the really bad thing is that often times you have no way of getting your money back with out going through a huge hassle and that is IF you ever actually do.
We know that you often want to buy a nice piece to commemorate your trip, but research it well if you decide to purchase. So beware, make sure of what you are buying, know your stuff well, still be cautious even in the tourist suggested areas or play it safe and buy from a trusted jeweler here in the states, like CornerStone. Remember, in the states you have laws to protect you.
Heart Ball 2011
One of the privileges we have is supporting the American Heart Association each year through the Heart Ball. This year we “iced” some of the attendees. That involved the individuals coming into our store and choosing a few pieces to wear on the night of Heart Ball 2011. It was a fun evening with finger foods and everyone enjoying choosing their items. The night of the Heart Ball everyone looked delightful and had a great time .
We also had a beautiful diamond pendant that was in the live auction that helped add to the total amount of money donated for heart research. Take a look at the pendant along with some of our employees and “Icees” that night. Thank you to all who attended and if you were not able to this year, please consider supporting the AHA next year through the Heart Ball.
